032c’s FW2020 Collaboration With adidas Includes A Cheekily-Pierced Campus Prince Duo_Sole Says It All

Berlin-based publication 032c and adidas aren’t strangers, but their forthcoming Fall/Winter 2020 collection is their most expansive together. Inspired by the 1990s and featuring a range of apparel and accessories, the capsule’s headliner is unquestionably the footwear: a Campus duo featuring a “Prince Albert”-style detailing.

Although the adidas Originals silhouette has previously donned vibrant arrangements, some of its more beloved looks favor on understated palette. Unlike its inclusion in a recent collaboration with Human Made, the Campus pairs in the forthcoming capsule indulge in a premium matte leather build and contrasting, tonal black and white colorways. Thick profile 3-Stripes blend into their surroundings in palette choice, but their thick applications deliver depth and texture to each pair’s sides. Red “032c” branding on the heel interrupts the monochromatic aesthetic, but is undoubtedly overshadowed by the piercing dangling from the lateral side’s top eyelet. Sole units keep their ’90s design and bring their respective pairs’ tonal scheme underfoot (although the white option boasts slightly-yellowed midsoles).
