Nike Takes SNKRS Day 2023 Global On September 9th_Sole Says It All

Since 2017, Nike has celebrated SNKRS Day, a fictional holiday highlighting the industry-changing app. The event has taken place on August 8th across Europe and Asia, offering both regions exclusive product from the Air Jordan and Nike Huarache series. This year, the fictional holiday will include all of the Nike SNKRS app’s markets and take place on September 9th.

The Swoosh hasn’t disclosed specifics about what product will launch as part of SNKRS Day 2023, but it promises accessibility to all. Although the event is focused around product, it will also highlight community and the stories behind sneakers, two highlights of the SNKRS app. It’s possible the September 9th holiday will see special makeups of the Air Max 1 or Dunk Low given how commonplace both silhouettes have been over the last seven months. The brand could also use the event to re-launch an obscure model or introduce a new design to the masses. Regardless of what product drops, SNKRS Day 2023 will surely be one for the history books.
