The 2023-2024 NBA season — LaMelo’s fourth overall as a pro — will look a lot different than what he’s been accustomed to over his first three campaign in the league. Firstly, Michael Jordan is no longer the majority owner of the franchise. Secondly, Ball will have a big to dump the ball to in the post in Brandon Miller, the second overall selection in the 2023 draft and Jordan’s final mark in his legacy as Hornets owner.
On his feet, LaMelo will be rocking his newest signature shoe, the MB.03. Several colorways of that signature model are in the works, but not before PUMA unloads a bevy of low-top colorways of the MB.02 Lo. Already dropping in the “LaMel-Os” colorway, the summer-ready hoop shoe appears in the Hornets-friendly teal and purple dubbed “Queen City”, a follow-up to the MB.01 colorway from 2022.
